Learn how to be mindful while you eat at a Healthy Habits cooking demonstration and food tasting at Warwick Public Library Tuesday, January 23 at 2 p.m.
It’s easy to eat a snack or a meal without thinking about it, and if you eat mindlessly, you can overeat, binge eat, and find yourself gaining weight.
Join the Healthy Habits team to discover how to experience more pleasure while you eat and have better control over how much you consume. Watch a cooking demo, and then practice mindful eating while you taste the delicious dish.
Healthy Habits: Eating Well on a Budget workshops are based on science-supported nutrition information and presented by culinary and nutritional professionals from the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
Cooking and food education events are made possible by the Warwick Public Library Charlie Cart mobile kitchen.
Sign up online at warwicklibrary.org or call (401) 739-5440, x3. For more information, call (401) 739-5440, x9758. The Library is located at 600 Sandy Lane.
