It was incorrectly reported in last Thursday’s Beacon that Mayor Scott Avedisian learned of Rainworks Invisible Spray, a means of creating street art that becomes visible when wet, at a meeting of the Governor’s Outdoor Recreational Council. Avedisian said he learned of the Rainworks idea from a Leadership Rhode Island seminar about loving the place in which you live. Avedisian hosted a meeting of the Outdoor Recreational Council at the Aspray Boathouse in Pawtuxet Park on the Thursday before Memorial Day as a way to have people who had not been exposed to Gaspee Days learn the story.
