The rendering of the car wash proposed across Centerville Road from the Diamond Hill Road intersection with its tower and sloped roofs looks more like a high class retail outlet or restaurant. The major development proposed by Centerville Associates of 164 Centerville Road will come before the Planning Board for master plan approval on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the public meeting room of the Saw Tooth City Hall Annex. The 5.5 acre site is currently zoned for offices. The area is serviced by gravity sewers and overhead electrical/communication lines. As described in a narrative provided the planning department the multi-tenant commercial condominium development would include the car wash and a coffee shop with drive-thru and no inside seating. That would be followed by a bank and retail structure. Tenants have been secured for the car wash and coffee shop.
