At a recent meeting of the Cranston Cares board, it was presented that the Cranston Rotatry Club was helping to raise funds for the Friends of the Cranston Animal Shelter.
Without a second thought, the board voted to approve a donation of $222 to the shelter.
The number 222 is the signature of Cranston Cares' founder, Adam DeCiccio. Who's life motto was "deeds not words". 222 was the Battalion number in which he served overseas.
Cranston Cares continues to serve Adam's memory for helping out the Cranston community when it can.
