To the Editor:
Barry Nordin’s letter in the Nov. 25 Beacon asked, “Questions and are there answers?” Well, here is my answer to one of his insulting and scurrilous questions concerning Robert Cushman. In my opinion, Mr. Cushman is one of Warwick’s finest citizens, unselfish, caring and intelligent. His service to our city is and always has been beyond reproach.
Mr. Nordin completely blames Cushman for the city’s cost of a past teachers contract when everyone knows that there were four other voting members on the Warwick School Committee at the time.
Robert Cushman has never failed us, and believe me; his one hour’s time with the City Council is worth more than the two minutes of our time reading Nordin’s pathetic letter.

TP: Your services are needed on a higher plain servicing the 4 Stooges who represent RI in Washington, DC. They are a worthless lot, the whole bunch, much like moldy bananas.

Warwick is lucky to have someone of Mr. Cushman stature willing to share his insight with us.
