Raymond C. Dexter Jr., age 42, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Warwick, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.Born in Warwick, the son of Joyce T. (Rathbun) Dexter of Coventry, and of the late Raymond C, Dexter Sr., he was the brother of Jennifer L. Frie (husband Cliff) and the uncle of Korbin M. Vigeant.
Raymond was a graduate of Pilgrim High School. He was employed by McDonalds and had worked in other restaurants preparing food. For 10 years he worked as a machinist at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT. He also worked in automobile sales. Growing up, Raymond was active in the Boy Scouts, and playing baseball. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM followed by a graveside funeral service in Plain Meeting House Cemetery, West Greenwich at 12 Noon.
