Thomas J. Evans, 62, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Adrienne “Doll” F. (McDonald) Evans. Born in Providence, he was the son of Joan R. (Reinikka) Evans and the late Robert F. Evans.
Thomas was an officer for the Warwick Police Department for 12 years. He then went on to work as an Adult Diversion Officer for the RI Attorney General for 22 years, where he helped countless people.
Besides his wife Adrienne he is survived by his loving daughter, Aili Rose Calore and her husband Michael J. Calore, and his precious granddaughter Eleanor Grace Calore. He was the dear brother of Daniel F. Evans, Jo-Ann M. Evans and her husband Tim Doherty, and the late Michael P. Evans.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 9:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, West Warwick. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
