Five culinary students from the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center competed in the National Restaurant Association’s Prostart Competition for Food Service Management. Team Warwick placed first in this rigorous competition where they were required to design a restaurant concept and defend their management choices in front of multiple panels of judges. Team Warwick will now continue onto Baltimore, MD to represent the State of Rhode Island on the national stage in late April. The team includes Kate Whelan, Tyler Lowe, Bruce Angelini, and Harper Salinas. (Submitted photo)
