Carol A. (Lord) Gallagher 79, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, with her family by her side. She was the wife of George A. Gallagher they had been married 59 years in May. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Antonetta M. (Mele) Lord.
Carol was a devoted catholic, a Eucharistic Minister, and volunteered often with the church. She worked at Victoria Creations, she loved shopping, was an avid reader, and loved spending time with her family.
She was the loving mother of Sondra J. Medeiros and her husband Larry, and Jill Gallagher and her husband Jason. She was the grandmother of Brooke and Tara Medeiros, and Cameron and Ethan Hunt. She was the sister of Muriel Lombardo, and the late Inez Cummings. She was also the loving aunt of her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick on Monday, November 20, 2023. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
