Great white way

West Shore Road in Conimicut has been transformed with the flowering of ornamental pear trees. And it won’t be long before the blossoms fly like snow and the white way – a name bestowed on Broadway because of its electric Brush arc lights by the NY Evening Telegram in the early 1900s – becomes the green way.

I love it when the pear trees bloom in Conimicut. They make that part of West Shore Road something special.
