Leonard Harvey Hicks, 89, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was the loving husband of Lydia (Pullano) Hicks and the late Theresa F. (Perri) Hicks. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harvey E. and Catherine M. (Spencer) Hicks.
Alongside his wife Lydia, he is survived by his beloved children, Leonard A. Hicks of West Warwick and Thomas P. Hicks (Mary Beth) of Warwick, his stepchildren, Michael J. Pescione (Mary Ann) of Scituate and Anthony Pescione (Laura) of California, his grandchildren, Michael C. Pescione, Marissa Dixon, Melanie A. Vargas, Marvin Vargas, Matteo Pescione, and Lilianna Pescione, and his siblings, Donna Jean Rose and Pauline C. Taylor.
He was the father of the late Philip A. Hicks and the brother of the late Mary Ann Chalifoux, Barbara M. Silvia, Ella M. Assalone, and Ruth E. Yehle.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 10:00AM-12:00Noon at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will be private.
