One more reason to shop at Ocean State Job Lot. Is this not the greatest store on earth?

I have bought oriental rugs, blinds, garden supplies, tools, food, clothes, office supplies, and especially Portofino Coffee. If Ocean State has it, I want it, and now they are paying respect to our first responders in a way that makes me so proud of them that I want to shop there every day. It also makes me even more embarrassed at those that complain when the firefighters stop at the supermarket for food. Providence, Cranston, West Warwick and East Greenwich don't have a problem when their firefighters do it. Warwick residents shouldn't either. It makes us look petty when there are bigger (much bigger) issues to work on.

    Happy Easter everyone.

One of the bigger issues is that you should just shut up as you have no clue, and concentrate on paying your overdue taxes once and for all.

It's such an honor and privilege to be exposed to the self-righteous, pious, redundant, repetitive commentary of "The Captain", the only guiltless, sinless, faultless person in Warwick over the age of seven. I never tire of hearing his constant efforts to remind us of issues that are so critical to his life- let us all pray that he never finds a new hobby or diversion.

Perhaps, someday, he'll take it to the next level and commit himself to actually running for office and changing things, instead of crying in the wild and hoping someone else will heed his faultless wisdom...we can only dream! Yay "Captain"!

    Dear RISchadenfreude,

I have to plead guilty on this one. I DID owe back taxes on my car. My bad. I went to the tax collectors office last Friday (3-24-17), apologized, and paid all my back taxes. All ONE PENNY OF THEM!!! That's not a misprint! I owed a whole penny! How anyone could hold that against me is, well, something only Rob Cote (AKA Thecaptain) would do. It's not possible to be more petty than a "penny".

I did enjoy your response to him though. Thanks for your comment.

Happy Easter RISchadenfreude, to you and your family.
