Wayne M. Kidd, Sr., a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. He was 66 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Jane A. (Pearson) Kidd to whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late John E. and Marilyn A. (Musk) Kidd. Wayne was the loving father of Wayne M. Kidd, Jr., Lisa Kidd and Traci Ziobrowski (husband, Jonathan Jacobs); ‘Poppy’ to Justin Kidd, Ashleigh Kidd, Kyle Ziobrowski, Brandon Kidd and Jacob Ziobrowski. He was the brother of Edna Flanagan, Cathy Woodlock, Alfred Kidd, Marilyn Thibodeau, John Kidd, Jr. and the late Tina Magrath.
He enjoyed playful teasing and having a good laugh at the expense of those closest to him. An avid baseball fan, he could often be found cheering for the Boston Red Sox. Most of all, Wayne was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be tremendously missed by those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held at a later date.
