Library monthly Tuesday film series alternates between crime & comedy

Everyone loves a comedy, and just as many people are intrigued with crime. So, the Warwick Public Library plans to deliver both   with a year-long film series featuring a funny movie one month and a lawbreaking thriller on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

On February 13, , watch “The Thin Blue Line” (1988), featuring Randall Dale Adams and David Harris. Filmmaker Errol Morris helped free wrongly convicted Randall Adams and reveal David Harris as the true killer of Dallas police officer Robert Wood with this groundbreaking documentary.

Comedies and Crime: A Film Series plays on:

February 13 with “The Thin Blue Line”

March 12 with “A New Leaf”

April 9 with “Spotlight”

May 14 with “Ninotchka”

June 11 with “The Godfather”

July 9 with “Slap Shot”

August 13 with “Zodiac”

Sept. 17 with “The Royal Tennenbaums”

October 8 with “Kiss Me Deadly”

November 12 with “The Cameraman”

December 10 with “The Thin Man”
