To the Editor,
As I see the tragic events unfolding in the Middle East I am deeply saddened by what is taking place. I’m not going to say anything other than I have had the pleasure of having family members of the Jewish faith.
As a Roman Catholic I have always tried to be respectful and honorable to others of different religions because I believe that God likes to see that.
So I am not going to disparage anyone or their beliefs.
I am simply going to say that I have had the good fortune to celebrate many years and many happy events with people of the Jewish faith and that they are warm and welcoming and inclusive people who will always try to see the best in people always.
