Virginia Magnan, RN, of Warwick has been appointed clinical

manager of HopeHealth's Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. HopeHealth is a hospice, palliative care and visiting nurse provider in southeastern New England.

Magnan has been working with HopeHealth for three years as referral center RN in the referral and admissions center. "Virginia is a proven leader and a great clinician," said Diana Franchitto, president & CEO of HopeHealth. "We are looking forward to working with Virginia as she leads the extraordinary team at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center." Prior to joining HopeHealth in 2015, Magnan worked as a nurse care manager within a patient-centered home and also worked as an RN at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Virginia received her nursing degree from CCRI and is currently working toward an advanced degree at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

"I'm thrilled to have grown into a leadership role at HopeHealth, an organization I've been a part of for more than three years," said Magnan. "With my new position, I'm excited to make even more of a difference."

As clinical manager, Magnan will oversee the day-to-day activities and patient care services of the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center's interdisciplinary team and their coordination with other hospice teams and services. She will work collaboratively with other agency managers to ensure timely, competent, interdisciplinary patient centered-care for HopeHealth's hospice patients and families.
