Maureen J. (McGraw) Miller, a longtime nurse, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was 70 years of age. Maureen was the beloved wife of William R. Miller to whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Blanche (Roberts) McGraw.

Maureen’s family remembers her as a woman of deep faith who enjoyed meeting with her Bible study group and devoting herself to helping others. She took great pride in her yard and loved gardening, quilting and reading. Maureen loved vacationing with her family, especially at their favorite spot-on Lake Winnipesaukee. She could be found on the dance floor at family functions and loved listening to oldies music. Most of all, she loved the moments spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Maureen was the devoted mother of Lauren Nadelman (husband, Eric), Meredith Cohen (husband, Jeffrey), Elizabeth Dail (husband, Kevin) and the late Jeanna DiFillippo; cherished Meme of Owen, Ethan, Amalya and Juliette. She was the sister of Wayne McGraw and Terry McGraw, both of Arizona and JoAnn McCarthy.

Her bright smile and gentle soul will be missed tremendously by all those who knew her and loved her.

Maureen’s funeral will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick.
