Margaret “Lolly” (MacKinnon) Morse, 92, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, October 23,2023 at River View Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene “Gene” Morse, Jr. Born in Providence on November 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Norman & Martha MacKinnon.
Margaret was the loving mother of William “Woody” Morse (Carol), Janice Dailey (Ted), David Morse (Lucy), son in law Kevin McKeever and the late Peggy McKeever, grandmother of Matthew Dailey (Kerri), Katie Demers (Matt), David Morse (Jenn), Julia D’Arezzo (Dan), Stephanie Morse, and the late Robert Kurowski, great grandmother “GG” to Mackenzie & Samantha Dailey, Charlie & Henry Demers, TJ & Finnley D’Arezzo, Abby, Cameron & Aubrey Morse, Maddie & Olivia Clift, Madison Kurowski and sister of Jean Williams and the late Dorothy Darigan, Barbara Kendall, Russell MacKinnon, Charlie MacKinnon.
For Margaret, spending time with her family was the best. She loved seeing everyone, especially the great grandchildren who she loved to watch play. She enjoyed going camping with her family in Maine and Oakleaf Campground in Chepachet, RI. She loved going to Foxwoods and Twin Rivers to play the slots. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing, and playing 500 Rummy (aces high of course). She loved her bus trips with her friends.
She was such a great Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. To say she will be missed is an understatement. Love her sooo much!!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
