New hope?

To the Editor:

After eight years in the White House, our illustrious president has decided to talk tough to Vladimer Putin’s Russia.

This is a man who has spent eight years dismantling our defenses and our law enforcement agencies in order for the anarchists and traitors of his regime to remain in the limelight. Now he has decided to take a stand against Russia because he believes they were party to defeating the antichrist and somehow affecting his legacy of incompetence and cowardice. And once again his wife, who has never learned the old adage, the best words are left unsaid, states that she feels all hope is gone. What hope?

Has this arrogant tyrant given any of us hope? Perhaps the rioters and traitors were given hope, but normal thinking individuals have seen very little. The sooner all of them are gone the sooner we may begin to see hope in our lives for our children and our children's children.

Why does the beacon give idiots like John space to promote their insanity?

Dear jfraser,

I can answer your question. The Beacon allows "idiots like John" because John Howell does not discriminate against people that have views that are different than ours. He is keenly aware of our first amendment rights and prints a newspaper that is "fair" to us all. That's why you keep reading it. That's why I do too.

Happy New Year to all.
