Patricia (Johnson) Willis, age 75, of Harris Avenue, Cranston, passed away at home on Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was the wife of the late G. Dean Willis.

Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Clifford O. and Louise (Pescosolido) Johnson, she lived in East Greenwich for most of her life, and in Warwick before moving to Cranston eight years ago. Mrs. Willis was formerly a long-time coordinator for Matthew XXV, an outreach program for persons with HIV and AIDS. She was an advocate in the health community for the passage of clean needle legislation in Rhode Island, and often served as a public speaker. She was a former member of Names Project Rhode Island.

She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Kenyon Cabral and her husband Roger, of Warwick; four grandchildren: Jessica Cabral, Tiffany Cabral, Justin Cabral, and Ashley Kenyon; and two great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late David W. Kenyon.

A Requiem Eucharist will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
