Norma Louise (Barlow) Petrarca, 99, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late William J. Petrarca, Sr.
Born in Warwick, Norma was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Ganley) Barlow. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Parish and a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
Norma is survived by her beloved children, Laraine M. Petrarca, Elizabeth A. Podgorski, Lawrence W. Petrarca (Pat), William J. Petrarca (Peggy), and Robert V. Petrarca (Tammy). She was a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 8:00AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in West Warwick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
