Adelgunde Johanna (Ecker) Pimental, 88, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel J. Pimental. Born in Moosburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Andreas and Maria (Poeschmann) Ecker.

Adelgunde emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1957, and went on to work as a Security Checkpoint Supervisor at T.F. Green Airport until her retirement. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Apponaug and the Local 134 Service Employees Union. In her free time, Adelgunde enjoyed reading, swimming, and gardening.

She is survived by her beloved grandson, Daniel G. Suitor of Warwick, her son-in-law, Lyle Suitor, her sisters, Maria Niedermeier of Landshut, Germany, Irmgard Krofta of Moosburg, Germany, and Johanna MacNeil of Warwick.

She was the mother of the late Pamela B. Pimental and sister of the late Andreas Ecker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10:00AM at Sts. Rose & Clement Parish, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Interment will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
