CITY OF WARWICK
In accordance with Chapter 22, Section 22-2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Warwick, a public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 3275 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island on January 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the dredging petition of Prime Marina East Greenwich, 3 Division Street, Warwick, R.I. 02818, further identified as Assessor’s Plat 220, Lot 174.
The purpose of this project is to dredge an area to be used for a future travel lift in order to provide safe transit to existing slips. The project will involve dredging approximately 1077 cubic yards of sediment to be used upland. It is considered suitable for beneficial reuse so it will be dewatered on site and will be used in the parking lot as fill. The applicant shall receive all required federal, state and local approvals including but not limited to approvals from the Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC), Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and the Army Corp of Engineers.
At the above mentioned time and place all interested abutters may be heard for or against such dredging.
