Rep. Robert B. Lancia (R-Dist. 16, Cranston) will be attending the White House Conference with Rhode Island state and local Leaders on Thursday, Oct. 18.
The conference, which Lancia will be attending with his wife, Maryann Lancia, will include remarks and discussion with key administration officials and policymakers on pertinent issues impacting the state.
“It is a distinct honor to be invited to the White House for this conference,” said Lancia. “I look forward to discussing the issues that beset our state to help make the presidential administration aware of the issues that concern Rhode Island the most.”
The event is sponsored by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, which serves as the primary liaison between the White House and state, county local and tribal governments. The office focuses on building and maintaining relationships with state and local officials.
