NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A USDOT ACT
SECTION 4(F) DE MINIMIS FINDING FOR IMPACTS TO
WASHINGTON SECONDARY BIKE PATH AND PARKING LOT RECREATION AREA

Per 23 CFR 774, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration announces the release of a Notice of Intent to Adopt a USDOT Act Section 4(f) De Minimis Finding for Impacts to the Washington Secondary Bike Path and Parking Lot Recreation Area (Notice of Intent) in Warwick, Rhode Island, at the I-295 bridges over West Natick Road. The Notice of Intent describes the impacts to said recreation area, the legal requirements of Section 4(f) review, and the public comment period. The Notice of Intent is available for download at dot.ri.gov/BridgeGroup8.

RIDOT requests public comment on the Notice of Intent by December 16, 2023. Comments can be submitted to:
