Children attending the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick will be better equipped for school thanks to Lowe’s on Quaker Lane in Warwick, the area Planet Fitness, and caring individuals who either held or contributed to Back to School Drives. This time of year is particularly stressful for many struggling families as additional costs associated with going back to school can mean cutting back on other essential items such as food, utility payments, and more. Pictured are some BGCW members who are happy recipients of notebooks, backpacks and more, as well as Planet Fitness representatives Shelby Porter (back, left) and Jason Emmett (back, third from left) and BGCW executive director Lara D’Antuono (second from left) and Oakland Beach Branch director Monique Rossi (far right).
