An adventure

With an average of 25 campers each week, Warwick Police just wrapped up three weeks of Adventure Camp for youths ranging from 11 to 14 years old. The camp that exposed campers to different aspects of police work as well as how to personally deal with bullying and how to be safe is held Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During the week, the campers also visit Adventure Park in Storrs, Conn. where they are challenged on high rope courses. The program is subsidized by the Mayor’s Substance Abuse Task Force and run by school resource officers under the direction of William Castaldi.
