In an effort to raise $25,000 to send state winners to the National Skills USA competition next June, students and faculty at the Warwick Area Career and Technical center conduct three fund-raising events during the academic year: a Yankee Candle sale, a breakfast and a golf tournament. The candle sale is drawing to a close, made all the more successful by the sales of cosmetology student Samantha Lavalle, who tallied $370 in sales.
