Take a gray day, add some music and promote what everyone likes – Girl Scout cookies – and you’re certain to draw attention. That was the scene Sunday at Girl Scout offices on Route 5 as Troop 14 of West Warwick sought to move all that much closer to selling 6,374 cookies. Troop leader Kate Santangelo pointed out that cookie sales not only teach the girls the importance of goal setting, but other skills including math and salesmanship. Joining Santangelo for the dance (from left) are her daughter Lorelai, Haylen Heal and Gabbie Sideski. (Warwick Beacon photo)
