Ryan Maxwell, the son of Christopher and Deborah Maxwell, was presented his Eagle Badge in a court of honor held Aug. 11 at the Maxwell home. As Troop 71 Cowesett has disbanded, Ryan’s ceremony marked the final Eagle ascent from this group. A Hendricken graduate, Ryan heads this month to Morgantown, Wwet Virginia to begin his freshman year as a West Virginia University Mountaineer. There, he will join fellow Eagle Scout, former Brown President E. Gordon Gee, who currently resides as WVU president. The ceremony was performed by John Seubert, former Troop 71 Scoutmaster.
