After a move that started on Friday and carried on through the day Saturday, the city Tax Collector and Assessor offices were open for business Monday in the renovated Buttonwoods Center on West Shore Road. For almost 18 months those offices and others once housed in the City Hall Annex have been operating out of the former John Greene School on Draper Avenue. The annex was forced to close after a burst pipe seriously compromised the building. Additional city offices will be moving to Buttonwoods over the next couple of weeks. Here, Joao Pereira makes a utility payment. Donna Beneduce works the counter. (Warwick Beacon photo)
