Residents and staff at Sunnyview Nursing Home were in for a treat Wednesday when the self-proclaimed A Team from Brookdale West Bay showed up with tubs of frozen yogurt, lots of fresh fruit and sugary toppings. Brad Logan, a team member, brought along his guitar, lending the event a lively beat. Brookdale’s Anne Marie Charland said Brookdale residents are often sent to Sunnyview for rehab, where they receive loving care. She said the “frozen yogurt popup” was a way of saying thank you and paying it forward. Logan took a break from serenading to pop a juicy blackberry into the mouth of Pauline Cole, who worked at Sunnyview for 14 years and now returns to volunteer. (Warwick Beacon photos)
