Sister Mary Angelus of St. Peter Church celebrated her 90th birthday with a procession of the school’s children as well as a garden party on the parish lawn on May 26. Mayor Scott Avedisian, who has known Sister Angelus since he was young, attended and brought a proclamation from the city. Avedisian joked that as a young boy, Sister Mary Angelus would bring him to Catechism at St. Peter Church, despite the fact he is an Episcopalian. (Submitted photo)
