The Ocean State Center for Independent Living will be hosting free Lunch & Learn Workshops in March on the topic of SSI/SSDI Benefits and Work Incentives.
Representatives from the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities will discuss general SSI/SSDI and how earnings may impact eligibility for these benefits as well as state benefits and health insurance.
Included will be various work incentives that you may be entitled to, if working, along with your responsibility to report any earnings. Time will be available for questions and answers.
The Wednesday, March 27 workshop will be held at OSCIL offices at 1944 Warwick Ave., Warwick from noon to 2 p.m. The following day a workshop will be held at the same time at the OSCIL Pawtucket office at 175 Main St.
As part of OSCIL's mission to provide outreach, education and opportunities for peer support, OSCIL offers these FREE Lunch and Learn workshops highlighting various solutions that can increase access in your home and community.

heather.schey@oscil.org if you plan to attend. Seating is limited. Lunch (pizza) and beverages will be served.
A sign language interpreter will be available at both locations and CART will be available at the Warwick location. United Way's 211 Information RV will be onsite on March 27 in Warwick.
