Supreme Court rules!

To the Editor,

On March 4th, the United States Supreme Court voted that taking Donald Trump’s name off the ballot in Colorado was unconstitutional! Not only that, but they rendered their decision unanimously!

What does that tell us about the Colorado Democrats that tried to remove Trump from the ballot? Are they guilty of election interference? Sure sounds like they are. Should they be prosecuted? I think so.

And, while we’re at it, let’s look at the January 6th event. Here are the facts.

Fact: The demonstrators began assembling in front of the capital days before January 6th. The danger was clear to everyone, days before January 6th.

Fact: Trump was quoted as saying he granted Congress the use of the Capital Police and/or the National Guard if Congress felt it was needed.

Fact: Trump also instructed demonstrators to “demonstrate peacefully and patriotically.” He mentioned the first amendment “right to freedom of assembly.” He made it clear that he all wanted was a peaceful demonstration.

Fact: Congress, not President Trump was in control of security for that event. Let me repeat that for those who refuse to listen to it. Trump wasn’t in charge of security on January 6th. The Speaker-of-the-House in the days leading up to January 6th was Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi was in charge!

Fact: Nancy Pelosi could have but DID NOT increase security for the Capital. Not Donald Trump! It was entirely her decision. Should she be held accountable? Once again, I think so. And I am a long-registered Democrat.

Is it possible, just possible, that she knew that if there was trouble, she and the Democrats could con the public into believing it was all Trump’s fault?? Wouldn’t that hurt Trump in November? Isn’t that also, election interference? Shouldn’t the Democrats be held accountable??

When you vote in November, you should cast your vote based on facts, not opinions. Especially when those opinions are one-sided.
