Anthony R. Vellucci, age 93, passed away on Thursday October 19, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Gloria (Miceli) Vellucci for 74 years. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late
Antonio and Thelma (Wood) Vellucci.
A resident of Warwick for 56 years, Anthony served his country honorably in the Army National Guard for 40 years and retired as a Sergeant Major. In his retirement, he loved to tend to his home garden and take care of his growing
family. Above all, Anthony loved nothing more than spending time with his family who will miss him dearly.
Anthony is also survived by his daughter Debra Colavecchio and her husband Michael, his son Michael Vellucci and his wife Tammy as well as many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Anthony Vellucci Jr., his brother Arthur Vellucci and sister Alice Pryor.
