Ann-Marie (DeFusco) Ward, age 77, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, with her family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Louis D. and Filomena (Antoscia) DeFusco. Ann-Marie was the beloved mother of Lesley King (husband, Richard King, Jr.) and devoted ‘Nonna’ to Kevin Ward, Adam King, Ava King and Olivia King.
Ann-Marie was a woman of deep faith who loved attending church and living her life by the Bible. She loved animals, working in her yard, watching the birds and enjoyed all the wonders of nature. She was known for her thoughtfulness and giving personality and was never one to miss a milestone like wishing someone a Happy Birthday or Anniversary. She loved her jewelry and in her younger years was known for her sense of style. Most of all, she adored her family and planning special occasions to celebrate with them.
A visitation will be held from 9-11AM on Monday, November 20, 2023, in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 11AM. Her interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
