Music instructor Dinarte Ferro works with Oakland Beach students on a performance of “Water Music” by classical composer George Frideric Handel. Ferro, who travels from school to school, said the size of class might vary with as many as 20 students at some schools. Nonetheless, there’s an unfaltering interest in music. From left are Trent Canton, Dulce Gracia, Isabella Clary and Lillian Chauvette. Trent puts away the clarinet that Ferro made available. He’s hopeful of getting his own shortly.
