A fire broke at the Woodbury Union Church this evening, and the structure was still burning after 9 p.m. Two aerial ladders are on scene working the fire, and flames were seen shooting from the base of the steeple. The original Woodbury Union Church at the corner of Beach Ave. and West Shore Rd. was built in 1908 West Shore Road at the Beach Avenue intersection remains closed. It looks like firefighters will be there most of the night. We'll have more information as details become available.
