Hawks, Pats shine in season opener

The defending state champion Bishop Hendricken cross country team got off to a strong start this week, topping both East Greenwich and Juanita Sanchez in their dual meet on Monday afternoon at Goddard Park.

The Hawks were led by Evan Reynolds with a time of 16:25, which was good enough for first place, followed by teammates Luke Henseler in second, David Delbonis third and Matt St. Jean fourth.
