Button Hole Golf Course is searching for any child age 10 and up who can walk 18 holes and would like to be a standard bearer at this year’s CVS Charity Classic Golf Tournament at the prestigious Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington.
Standard Bearers are an integral part of the tournament experience. In this volunteer position, youths will be walking inside the ropes alongside PGA, Senior PGA and LPGA professionals as well as pro-am participants carrying the sign bearing scores and player names. This is a great opportunity for all those interested in the game and who want to see first-hand what a professional golf tournament is really like.
There are multiple times available for volunteer youths. Button Hole is mainly looking for youths who are willing to attend one (or both) of the Sunday, June 24 shifts. Those volunteering on Monday, June 25 must also participate in one Sunday shift.
This is an ideal opportunity for youth needing community service hours for any reason.
Parents of participants who wish to attend the tournament may do so for free. In addition, there is no cost to attend on Sunday June 24, and there will be complimentary tickets provided if your child participants on June 25. To register visit Button Hole Golf online.
