Report Inappropriate Comments

So the council voted no because constituents asked them to not raise taxes based on your slogan. Is that the gist of your statement?

It is your choice to believe that your campaign influenced their vote. Far be it from me to try and pluck that particular feather out of your cap.

It is my choice to believe that it was more like happenstance and that you being opportunistic grabbed at it and ran hoping it would buy you votes. You can always try to sell it. I can always refuse to buy it.
