Who can nail down an employees cost when you don’t know when they will be hired? No one can. Even estimating 2% trust savings means making assumptions. I thought the smart leaders in the council can understand this simple fact. You don’t have a cost on an imaginary employee. Guess what you will also have zero in the OPEB trust fund if you don’t hire anyone.
