Daydream, it truly is sad. It's gone so far past the point. Cat tried to voice similar reasoning and was shouted down by another commenter. Honestly, who cares if someone has another job? I applaud anyone who earns a living in 2020 and to think others would attempt to mock this is truly pathetic. You have no idea what circumstances would lead a person to work a 2nd full time job and for that reason you should probably not judge or comment on such things.

I wasn't crazy about the December 20th vote taking place but it was pushed back another 2 weeks and passed 5 to 4. Time will now tell if the savings mentioned will be realized but this is why elections are held. Aside from that I think it's ridiculous to lob insults back and forth for another few years.

For those who are THAT opposed: vote, run for office, encourage others to run for office but channeling so much anger towards ANYTHING in a comment section probably isn't the most productive way to oppose the contract or anything else for that matter. Obviously there are exceptions and there are plenty of good people who comment regularly that want what's best for the City. I hope everyone of those people continue to comment and aren't driven away by some of the nonsense that seems more common everyday. There is plenty to discuss and debate but if its only name calling then it'll never get past that. It's been so bad lately it almost feels deliberate. It doesn't reflect well on anyone and I hope it changes.
