Warwick police are seeking two suspects in the theft of a large amount of tools from the Lowe’s on Route 2 last month.
According to police, two men were observed entering the store just after noon on April 23. The men reportedly selected two carriages worth of tools – including DeWalt combo kits and a Husqvarna chainsaw – before running past the clerk out the door and leaving the scene in a gold or silver SUV.
The total value of the stolen items is nearly $3,000, police said.
Both men appear to be at least 35 years old with heavy builds, according to police. One of the men, seen wearing a coat, appeared to have a brace or pad on his left knee.
Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspects is asked to contact Warwick police at 401-468-4239. Detective Dave Morrow is investigating.
