Warwick Police recovered the body of a 76-year-old man from a dinghy in Apponaug Cove yesterday morning.
Gallucci said police received a call at 10:45 a.m. Monday about an “unresponsive man” in a dinghy. Gallucci said the man apparently had a “medical incident” while rowing out to a moored boat from Apponaug Cove Marina. He said a friend of the man noticed the dinghy adrift and investigated.
The man’s name is being withheld until notification of family.
