A Greenwood assembly of Halloween characters
PARADE QUEEN... OR WITCH? The Chapman Avenue home of Stacy Capone, owner and artistic director of Distinctive Dance Etc. was once again ground zero for what was the 26th annual Greenwood Halloween parade. With the donations of area businesses and her neighbors, Capone put out an extensive spread of pizzas, cookies and drinks for the parade that winds through the neighborhood accompanied by fire and police vehicles…and she didn’t spare any effort on making herself one of many stars for the occasion. More photos on page 5. (Warwick Beacon photos)
HOW DO YOU EAT WITH A BEAK? The answer as attorney Richard Kyte discovered is to nose your way to a slice of pizza.
BEST JOB: School Committee member Leah Hazlewood was an angel when it came to handing out pizza. She said she loved doing it because she got to meet everyone.
READY TO HAUNT THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Tick or treaters make their way to the start of the Halloween parade.
ARE THERE TWO OF THEM? Ben Simpson was quite content with an alien strapped to his back.
PRE-PARADE: Super heroes, ghouls, ghosts, robots, witches and just about every imaginable character gathered at the Chapman Avenue home of Stacy Capone for the start of Greenwood’s annual Halloween parade.
