Robert Houghtaling, 79, gave a salute to passers by as he stood watch over the East Greenwich veterans’ Day Parade. Houghtaling, a former marine and veteran of the Korean War, was this year’s grand marshal. Friday’s parade featured many bands and marchers, including the Kentish Guard, also pictured. Those marching were greeted by hundreds of spectators lining East Greenwich’s Main Street.
