To the Editor:
It is November; the holidays draw near.
It’s time for mistletoe and Christmas, a happy New Year.
Turkeys are roasting; ham to be sliced.
Lamb will be served and drinks will be iced.
Stores and homes create an ambiance that sets off on a holiday trance.
The children are all excited, they know that Santa’s on his way.
He’s brining lots of toys and games for them to play.
Friends and family gather to show that they care.
Exchanging gifts, kind words fill the air.
When you are with the ones that you love, hug them, kiss them, give them a squeeze.
Be grateful enough to get down on your knees.
Enjoy the holidays. Be full of good cheer.
Merry Christmas, Peaceful Hanukkah, and to all a Happy New Year.
