The Mayor has announced a "Workshop" of the Harbor Management Commission for Tuesday, September 12th at the Sawtooth Building. 6:00 p.m.
The Commission will open up its session to the people to discuss rights-of-way to the shore in Warwick, moorings, and boating matters. Horseshoe crab harvesting.
It is our chance to talk about the continued "No Parking" signs at various rights-of-way despite Vinny Gebhart's and other City Council members efforts to take these signs down.
I hope to see my City Council rep at this important meeting where she can help us open up the rights-of-way on Greenwich Bay including parking!
It is the people's opportunity to explore why the "No Trespassing" signs remain posted at the Buttonwoods Fire District, a public place in Warwick.
I encourage all to come to this important, first in Warwick, workshop of the Harbor Management Commission.
It is our bay that they, the commission, and we, the people protect.
Richard Langseth
